Hair tone is still another really significant matter to looking lovely. Before, you are more or less stuck with the hair tone nature has given you. These existing times though have substantially altered that fact and made everything much humor. Hair dyes have unquestionably brought an entire original proportion to haircare products. Even if the tone of your hair is something you do not like, you can now well rectify that. Plus, you go the exemption to alter hair colors whenever you look like it. You can dye your hair in saloons or still at house. Just make not have a habit of it though because hair dying can get unfavorable effects to the hair. To have certain that changing the tone of your hair is secure, go a better feel at a hair dye’s ingredients. If it contains ammonia, never always take that merchandise. Changing hair colors much than formerly a week is extremely not recommended. In fact to be on the secure position, do not alter hair tone much than formerly a month. If you do, your hair will move slim and brittle then tight.
There are a plenty of hair colors accessible for you to take. The safest ones though are henna and indigo. They are the almost side-effect available of the lot. The remainder are bounce to offer you one trouble or another. Also recall that the tone shown on a mob may not ever be the same that would seem on your hair. Some dyes carry toxins that can be deadly. Extreme maintenance is unquestionably in decree. As often as potential, let experts dye your hair instead of doing it yourself. Suppose you are planning to use it yourself so rinse your hair with a mild bland shampoo and circumstance it. Towel your hair to dampness. Make certain it is not drenched. And so use the hair dye according to mob instructions. Many dyes will cite that you should use on unwashed hair but this is simply to have you take much sum of dye.
Before choosing the correct hair tone for you, regard your heart tone, facial tone and color. If in uncertainty, so ever confer with a haircare specialist for they would get greater experience on what tone suits what character of cheek. Always begin with lighter shadow than darker shades, as it will be easier to switch from soft to blue than from blue to illuminate. Choose colors that are normal to your area else it would seem calm strange, unless strange is what you favor. Start applying from an imperceptible zone on your scalp so that you may halt the dying if the tone does not equal your tastes. If you are planning to withdraw a tone so take extreme maintenance to select an appropriate removing textile that does not damage the hair. The perfect alternative to distort a hair nowadays would be to select hair tone sprays or tone gels. These are washable and can alter the hair tone well without causing more harm to the hair’s unity.

The Ideal Image Obsession
Throughout high school, I’ve battled my mom, dance instructors, and myself with my weight. I’m five foot nine and people expected me to weigh 125 pounds. I feel as if it’s an on going thing. Weight loss is something that is always on my mind. Whether my brothers are making jokes about me having a constant inner-tube around my waist , or girlfriends bragging about fitting into a size 2, weight is in everyday conversation and an ongoing battle.
The media today sets and advertises the ideal image. These days, everybody is striving for it. Whether its lipo suction, weight loss pills, expensive diet programs, personal trainers, or new lipo dissolve, the ideal image is on most everybody’s mind. Weight loss commercials have taken over radio and television daily. Not only is it a fad for women of all ages, men are just as into it. Television shows promoting weight loss include The Biggest Loser and Celebrity Fit Club. Millions of people tune into these reality television programs which just ad to the fad.
Not only do people dedicate so much time to this obsession, but its quite a pricy ordeal. A few popular weight loss programs include Weight Watchers , Jenny Craig , and Nutrisystem . These programs can cost up to $20 a week, which is very expensive. Weight loss pills cost about $60 on average for a supply, and going under the knife for lipo suction can cost thousands of dollars. The world is so stuck and obsessed with the ideal image, they will do just about anything for any price.
Where did all of this pressure originate? Magazine models, television programs, and celebrities definitely influence the world’s idea on how they are supposed to look. Model, Tyra Banks, created reality hit America’s Next Top Model, picking average girls to model and making them glamorous and of course thin. I feel that the millions of people watching these shows feel pressured to look like the models. I personally feel the tabloids and celebs new obsession with NOT eating is what people now think they are supposed to look and act like.
I have a very strong opinion about this new ideal image obsession. I find it good that people are striving for a healthier lifestyle and that people care about what they look like, but I don’t feel it’s the obese people going for this ideal image. It bothers me how this has become an obsession. Most Americans are so stuck on the tall and thin image, like I said earlier, they will do anything to achieve it. Contemporary’s society is much different from society back in the day. American’s today are concerned solely on image and what others think of them. In the past, I feel people concentrated more on important matters. People today believe that is what they are supposed to look like, and I find that very disturbing. They hope for the ideal image, and assume being tall and thin is going to make them a better, happier person.
Overall, I feel Americans today have their priorities jumbled. In the long run, being tall and thin is not the most important thing. After all of the tabloids, and different ways to help lose the weight, who knows how serious weight loss is going to be in the future.

Silicone Sheets – An Effective Way to Deal with Scars
How do scars form on the skin?
Skin disorders like acne and infections like chicken pox can also produce scars on the skin. The collagen fibers are formed over the wound and gradually a fibrous tissue is formed over the skin; but these tissues do not possess the qualities of skin.
Scars are categorized into different types as keloid scars, hypertrophic scars, contracture scars, chicken-pox scars, and acne scars. These scars cannot be completely wiped out clean from the skin, but the treatment methods available today can certainly reduce the impact of the scars to a huge extent. One such successful treatment method is the silicone sheeting treatment. The silicone sheeting is used over the affected area to reduce the intensity of the scar, and it is a non-surgical treatment method. The injured area is generally covered with medical dressing for healing, and after healing applying silicone sheet on the injured area is reported to soften and flatten the scars in a very short period.
What are silicone sheets?
The silicone sheet is a mineral based gel membrane produced from medical polymer materials. It is smooth, thin and transparent with adhesive on one side to attach itself with the skin. The silicone sheet applies pressure on the skin, but allows moisture to penetrate through it. It must be noted here that the silicone sheeting must only be used after complete healing of the wound. A good scar crème can also applied on the damaged skin to get optimal results in less time.
How is the silicone sheet used to reduce scars?
Research has proved that the usage of silicone sheet helps to control the evolving hypertrophic and keloid scars. These sheets are flexible, and can be attached to any part of the body directly over the wound. They are useful to reduce the impact of the old scars, and minimize the evolution of new scars from the healed wound. The effect of silicone sheet is reported to be high when dealing with new scars, and the good news is that they have no side effects.
Silicone sheets apply pressure on the scar and minimize their appearance gradually. Compared to scar ointments that are greasy and inconvenient the silicon sheet is a non-messy way to treating scars. It is also inexpensive when compared to other traditional scar removal methods.
Tips on usage
The silicone sheet can be used for 8 to 12 weeks in scar reduction treatment. For best results it is recommended to use the sheets more than 12 hours per day. It is also recommended to use a silicone sheet for the maximum 3 week period, replace with a new one if it has accumulated more dirt. The affected area must be washed before using the sheet, as the dust accumulated will reduce the adhesive quality of the sheet. The silicone sheet must not be used on wounds which are yet to heal.
Benefits of using silicone sheet
The silicone sheet can be used by all age groups, and it can be applied at any position. It is helpful to reduce the impact of scars formed due to burns. Silicone sheet can be used to heal all types of scars including keloid Scars, surgical scars, breast Scars, C-Section Scars (cesarean section scars) and traumatic scars. It is most useful in preventing the contracture of skin, which happens after the skin transplant surgery. The scars around the joint areas make the physical movements painful; using silicon sheets on these areas reduces the impact of the scars, and improves joint movement.
Many medical studies proved that silicone sheets are the best to heal many types of scars caused on the skin. Most plastic surgeons recommend the silicone sheeting to heal the scars caused by surgery. The silicone sheets are cost-effective, and have no side effects when compared with other scar removal treatments.

Finding the Best Anti Wrinkle Cream
There are all types of anti wrinkle products on the market, ranging from creams, lotions, masks, and even serums. Although they all serve the same purpose, various products usually contain a wide variety of ingredients, some that can actually make your skin look worse. When looking to buy the best anti wrinkle cream, there are a few ingredients you should look for, and a few that you should avoid, to guarantee you are getting the best product for your skin and getting the most for your money.
The first thing to look for in an anti wrinkle cream is the ingredient used for moisturizing, since hydrated skin will make wrinkles appear less noticeable. You should opt for a cream rather than a lotion or other water-based product. Water can actually make the skin lose moisture and make wrinkles more noticeable, while a thick cream will actually provide the skin with a great deal of moisture that will keep the skin looking refreshed for a long period of time. The cream should be a natural based product, such as cocoa butter, Aloe Vera, or even vitamins and herbs. The best anti wrinkle creams are neither too thick nor are they too liquid.
You will want to choose a product that actually gets rid of your wrinkles, rather than just tightening your skin to provide a temporary solution. Many anti wrinkle creams contain essential fatty acids and a wide variety of vitamins, which actually work to promote cell repair and growth to get rid of your wrinkles. Collagen, the substance that makes your skin appear smooth, is produced when stimulated by the fatty acids and vitamins, so your skin will actually fill in the wrinkles on its own and provide a permanent solution.
Anti wrinkle serums are very popular for getting rid of wrinkles, since you can actually feel your skin get tight right after it is applied. The only problem with serums is that they are not actually absorbed into the skin, so they only provide a tightening on the outside of the face. A good anti wrinkle cream is actually easily absorbed into the skin, so it can provide moisture as well as essential vitamins and nutrients that help to promote healthy skin. Creams are also more beneficial than lotions or thin moisturizers, since the thickness of the cream keeps the moisture in the skin where a lotion may wear off after only a short period of time.
Damage from the sun is one of the main causes of wrinkles and aged skin, but many ingredients found in anti aging creams can actually reverse the effects sun has on the skin. Discoloration or aging spots are one of the main results of constant sun exposure, but they can be erased by using natural ingredients such as citrus juices to naturally bleach out any dark spots on the skin. Skin also tends to become dry and leather like with increased sun exposure, but the thick moisturizers found in anti wrinkle creams can provide enough moisture to make the skin look hydrated and healthy again.
Aloe Vera is one of the most important ingredients that you should look for in the best anti wrinkle cream, since it ensures you are purchasing a product that will actually heal your skin instead of only providing a temporary solution to wrinkles. Aloe Vera actually works to heal damaged skin and promote new cell production, meaning old skin cells are replaced with fresh, healthy looking cells that help to fill in wrinkles. Aloe Vera can also help to fade any scars or blemishes on your face, and can even help to heal acne that can sometimes occur in adults.
Because aging skin and wrinkles are a natural process, it is important to treat it with all natural ingredients. There are all types of products on the market that contain chemicals and ingredients that can’t even be pronounced, but the best anti wrinkle cream contains all natural ingredients such as fruit extracts and vitamins. By targeting the cause of aging with natural ingredients, you can get rid of your wrinkles and make your skin look younger and healthier. Rather than just providing a temporary tightening of your skin through serums or cosmetic procedures, good anti wrinkle creams will help to promote new cell growth, in order to fill in wrinkles and reverse the signs of aging on your skin.
Although the anti aging aisle in your local beauty store may be overflowing with amazing products, you should look for something that is natural and something that will provide a permanent fix. Although aging is something that happens to even the best of us, using all natural anti wrinkle creams will slow down the process and promote overall skin health. Be sure to keep all these points in mind while you search for the best anti wrinkle cream.

Yuko Hair Straightening
This permanent hair straightening technique originates in Japan. It uses heat as a way of reconstructing the bonds in your hair allowing it to lie flat, straight, glossy and smooth. This system works on most hair types (expect afro) and your hair needs to be a minimum length of four or five inches.
The straightening treatment brought to you by the Yuko hair straightening system can dramatically change the look and feel of your hair. It actually leaves your hair in better condition despite the fact it is done using chemicals. Although this treatment is permanent you may wish to repeat the process every six to 10 months depending on the rate of your hair growth.
Many people are worried about undergoing procedures such as the Yuko hair straightening as there is a worry surrounding it about possible damage to your hair. Everyone knows that chemical substances on your hair can cause damage but in the case of the Yuko hair treatment this isn’t the case. Yes this straightening procedure is performed using chemicals but damage shouldn’t be caused as long as the right products and procedures are used.
The majority of women in the UK straighten their hair on a daily basis, which is a process that on average takes 30 to 45 minutes to complete. This amounts to nearly 300 hours a year! The Yuko system takes three to five hours to work its magic, depending on the length and type of hair.
The Yuko system involves the following process:
• Your hair is washed, and then sprayed with pH balanced water, which prepares your hair to accept the neutralising solution.
• Pre-treatment protection is applied to your hair to prevent it from being damaged.
• The first chemical applied to your hair softens it and makes each strand stretchier.
• The neutraliser is washed out and the hair is rinsed through with hair water.
• The hair is divided into small sections and straightened using hair irons. This can take around two hours for medium length hair.
• Another chemical is applied which sets the hair in its current shape - completely straight. This is left on for quarter of an hour before it is rinsed off and more hair water is sprayed through the hair.
• The hair is blow dried and the hair straighteners are quickly run through the hair to provide a sleek and glossy finish.
If your hair is coloured or bleached the Yuko treatment can still be applied, however you will have to wait at least two weeks before it can be performed. Once the treatment has been applied to your hair it is highly important that you do not wash it for 48 hours and also avoid tucking it behind your ears and tying it up.
If you are hoping to have the Yuko treatment applied to your hair then it is important that you have a consultation with your hair dresser/stylist to ensure that your hair is in a suitable condition to have the treatment applied.

Japanese Hair Straightening Is It Right for You?
Japanese Hair Straightening, also known as Thermal Reconditioning, is one very popular hair straightening technique you just might want to think twice about before having done.
Originating in Japan in the late 90's the chemical products used in the process go by the names Liscio, Yuko and U.S. made Bio Ionics.
The treatment can take anywhere from 3 to 6 hours and involves numerous steps with costs ranging from $300 to $1,500 depending on the salon.
A cheaper price should raise some red flags as to the quality of the chemicals used or the expertise of the stylist according to the experts.
The result is permanently straight hair but after 4 to 6 months any new hair growth will need to be treated as well. This usually costs close to the same amount as the original treatment because it is a more time-consuming process involving straightening hair closer to the roots.
Because of the chemicals and techniques used you will not be able to curl the treated hair so you definitely want to take that into consideration beforehand.
There is also a growing concern from some stylists that thermal reconditioning may not be the perfect hair straightening solution after all.
First off, experts estimate that at least 80 percent of people that are having the treatment are not really good reconditioning candidates for several reasons:
Any recent chemical processes done to your hair such as hair coloring, bleaching or hair relaxing can cause serious problems including hair loss and breakage if you elect to have the treatment done. A hair strand test must be done first to determine whether your hair can accept the chemicals. If the salon does not offer a strand test you might want to reconsider who you trust your hair to.
It does not work on African hair because it is too fragile and can't take the heat required during the straightening process. It is not the same as a hair relaxer which is made especially for African hair.
In fact, a growing number of women are claiming serious hair breakage problems and it has been reported in the press that one of the top Hollywood celebrity hair stylists refuses to perform the treatment because she thinks it is too much of a risk to her client's hair.
Many women are led to believe that the process is actually good for your hair but there have been no clinical studies to prove this and by definition anything that physically alters the hair structure at the molecular level is damaging.
Even though many women have had the Japanese Hair Straightening process done to their hair with great success you should know that there can be some risk involved and if you decide to have it done to your hair be sure you use a reputable salon with properly trained stylists that will test your hair first.

Give your Hair Extensions the care they deserve
As days go by we are seeing an ever increasing demand for hair extensions. They started as a celebrity must have and have ended with more than half the population craving them. They can completely transform your look, giving you added length, volume and even colour but on top of all this they give you confidence.
As you are most probably aware there are many ways in which extensions can be applied and deciding on the method that is best for you is crucial in order to get the most out of your hair extensions. There is another aspect that is equally as important as choosing the right extensions and this is ensuring that you carry out the correct aftercare for your extensions.
When you have your extensions applied you should always follow the instructions given to you by your stylist. Your stylist is the person who knows your hair best and they are the ones who will be able to advise you in the best way of how to care for them.
The more care you take with your extensions the longer they will last. If you abuse your extensions they will shed more strands and you could loose more than the normal amount of bonds. One of the main mistakes that people make when it comes to caring for their extensions is they use too much heat on them. Heat is your hairs worst enemy; it damages your normal hair when used too much and it will damage your extensions if used too much.
There are certain steps that can be taken to help you care for your extensions and in effect make them last longer, starting with how you shampoo and condition them. Before you wash your hair you should brush it thoroughly as removing all of the tangles is highly important. Also always wash your hair in a downwards motion so that no tangles build up within it but if your hair is in a dry condition be careful when pouring a large quantity of water over your head as adding water to very dry hair has the potential to make it swell, which can tangle your hair and even have the potential to brake the extension bonds.
Another important factor to keep in mind is what to do with your hair while exercising and sleeping. You should never sleep on wet hair and always make sure that you have brushed it before getting into bed; it may also be a good idea to loosely tie the hair back whilst sleeping to stop it from tangling. It is important to ensure that the hair doesn’t tangle whilst the hair extensions are in place as allowing them to tangle means that the bonds could become loose and drop out and you will loose a lot more strands from your extensions. Attempting to brush out the tangles will put a large pressure on the hair and will most likely cause damage to the hair extensions. This is why when exercising you should also keep your hair tied back and also when you are swimming you should ensure that you wear a swimming cap as the chlorine of pool water and the salt of sea water can weaken the extension bonds.
When it comes to using hair products you are allowed to but you should stick to the products recommended by your stylist and never overload your hair with products as this can cause build up and tangling. You should avoid hair products that contain alcohol as this can dry your hair out. Try to use shampoo, conditioner and hair treatments that are PH balanced as these gently but effectively cleanse, protect and condition your hair
As you can see taking care of your hair extensions will not give you a lot of extra work but that little bit of extra care will make all the difference to your hair extensions; a difference that will be highly noticeable.

Sedu Straightening Irons
All across the country top stylists are using special straighteners in order to create beautiful, healthy looking hair. These straighteners are the most in demand hair styling product. They are made up of ceramic tourmaline plates and negative ionic technology. Standard ceramic irons do a decent job, but the Sedu produces as much as six times more negatively charged ions. They cut the time it takes to straighten your hair by half without causing any damage and leaves your hair three times smoother and silkier.
So what exactly is meant by ceramic tourmaline? Tourmaline is a precious stone that possesses natural unique ionic and infrared properties. The presence of Tourmaline mineral makes tourmaline ceramic irons totally unique in their class. The secret is the use of this very expensive, natural emitter of negative ions and infrared heat, working like a magnet. Negative ions close the cuticle layer to create a smooth, silky hair surface and seal in the hair’s natural moisture. This provides ultimate shine, colour and moisture protection, and also eliminate static electricity on the hair surface so hair is left silky and frizz-free.
Sedu straighteners are sold exclusively in salons, beauty supply stores and online. Sedu straighteners use infra red heat that helps to seal in your hair’s moisture. As well as straightening your hair, sedu straighteners also produce tight ringlets or loose waves.
Hair straightening technology has the same principal as a clothes iron. However the intensity of heat needed to straighten your hair can have an ill effect on your hair, making it dry, frizzy and a straw like texture. A sedu straightener stops this as it causes no damage to your hair due to the tourmaline ceramic plates. A sedu straightener only takes 30 seconds to heat up and comes in a variety of widths, the biggest being 1.5.
With sedu straighteners you can dress your hair how you want; you can have it straight, curly, flip it out or curl it in. Whether you have long or short hair you can use sedu straighteners. They give you amazing results every time and one of the best things about them is you can use them on a daily basis without ruining your hair.
If you want to achieve the best results possible with your sedu straighteners then it is advised you condition your hair well with a good conditioner when you wash it. This will stop you from damaging your hair and help you to create silky, straight and shiny hair.
Hair straighteners generally come in three models:
• Professional – the choice of professionals
• Salon Styler – have wider plates that quickly work through larger sections of hair, making them ideal for thicker, heavier hair
• Mini Styler – smaller curved barrel, which is ideal for short hair
The sedu is the top choice for hair straighteners not only with the general public but with the stylists too. They are the next best thing to having your hair permanently or
chemically straightened and the best bit is you don’t just have to go to your salon to experience sedu straighteners as they are available to buy from specialist beauty stores as well as online.

Sedu Hairstyles- How to Guide
The name sedu is taken from the word seductive and sedu hairstyles are all the rage in A-list celebrity town. Sedu hair products use the most cutting edge technology available to produce amazing hair straighteners and hair dryers.
Sedu hair straighteners are a favourite amongst big name stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie. They are said to be the most popular, efficient and safest hair straightener available.
Sedu hair straighteners do not only straighten hair, they also curl it. Here is a simple guide to creating some of the most popular hair styles around at the moment.
Want Straight, beautiful, shiny hair? Here how:
• Always spray a heat-protective spray in your hair to ensure no damage occurs to your hair from the heat of the straighteners or irons.
• Dry your hair completely using a hair dryer.; making sure that you aim the hair dryer downwards to keep the hair lying flat. Keeping the hair flat leaves your hair shinier as more light can reflect from your hair.
• Use a wide-toothed comb to comb through your hair - the wide comb stop static. Hold on to the comb for the next step.
• Split your hair into sections. Depending on the thickness of your hair you may end up with between 4 and 10 sections. Start straightening your hair, starting with the hair closest to your neck and work your way up. You will find that the more sections of hair you split up the straighter your hair will be at the end.
• The slower you go the straighter the hair will be and the longer the style will stay in your hair. Going slow will also limit any heat damage that could occur on your hair
• If you are happy with the final appearance of your hair you can spray some shine conditioner all over your hair. If you're not happy with how your hair appears simply continue straightening your hair until you achieve the style you desire.
Want curly hair but don’t know where to start? Read below where everything is explained:
• Start with your hair semi-straight or if your hair is out of shape begin by straightening.
• Spray a heat protecting hair spray on your hair and then split your hair into sections; remember the lower the number of hair sections the tighter the curls in your hair will be.
• Take your straightener or flat iron and clamp it over the top of one of the hair sections. Whilst pulling the straighteners down your hair turn the straightener round. Squeezing harder with the straighteners on your hair and pulling down harder when you bring the straighteners along your hair will produce a tighter curl.
• Do not brush your hair after you have added your curls; simply tease through your hair with your fingers.
• Add some shine hair spray to finish the effect.
These are the two main styles that you can create using Sedu hair straighteners.

What Synthetic Hair Extensions can do for you
Synthetic hair extensions are applied in the same way as human hair extensions. You can apply them through weaving, braiding or strand by strand. Like human hair extensions, synthetic hair extensions are available in a wide range of textures and colours.
The main types of synthetic hair extensions that are available are Kanekalon, Toyokalon, Monobraid and Profibre. Your synthetic hair extensions can be washed just like your own hair. You can also blow dry your synthetic hair extensions, however when it comes to straightening or curling them you have to be careful as it can melt the synthetic hair. It is advised to dip the hair in hot water before using straighteners or curling tongs, although I recommend that you speak to your stylist as this may cause the hair to set.
Synthetic hair extensions will outshine your natural hair and will appear more healthy and manageable than your natural hair. Synthetic hair extensions will also appear shinier than human hair extensions.
If you are thinking about having hair extensions you should think about what you want your hair extensions for. If you want your hair extensions for a permanent basis then human hair extensions may be more suitable for you. However if you are thinking about getting hair extensions for a special occasion such as a party, wedding or as a fashion accessory then synthetic hair extensions are your answer. Although you can wear synthetic hair extensions for several months, they will be harder to style on a full time basis than human hair due to the straightening and curling restrictions.
Synthetic hair extensions, like human hair extensions should be attached and removed by a professional. Synthetic hair extensions are cheaper to have applied than human hair extensions but you should never chose cost over quality so make sure that when you are choosing your synthetic hair extensions that you chose the right ones for you and not the ones that are the cheapest.
Synthetic hair extensions normally take up to five hours to apply, this may sound like a long time but think of it this way, human hair extensions take up to nine hours to apply.
After you have had your synthetic hair extensions applied you need to make sure that you have regular appointments of around every six weeks so that your synthetic hair extensions can be maintained and tidied up on a regular basis.
Synthetic hair extensions are a man made alternate to human hair extensions. When used correctly synthetic hair extensions can look amazing, this is why it is important to have them applied by a professional.
Synthetic hair extensions are great if you want to add some colour to your hair. You can get synthetic hair extensions in a range of colours such as standard colours to match your natural hair colour or if you want a more striking look you can get synthetic hair extensions in bold colours such as red, blue, pink, green, purple or pretty much any other colour that you can think of.
Synthetic hair extensions could be the perfect solution for you if you are hoping for a new look, whether you want to add colour, length or volume, they could be just what you are looking for.

Yuko Hair Straightening
This unique straightening system was created in Japan. It thermally reconditions and restructures the bonds in your hair. The Yuko hair straightening system makes your hair lie straight and leaves it glossy, smooth, shiny and straight.
The Yuko straightening system is a permanent treatment and works on most hair types with one condition; your hair has to be between four and five inches long. Although the Yuko system is permanent a lot of people who have it done like to get the treatment re-done about every 12 months due to the hair growing. Depending on how fast your hair grows depends on how often you will need the treatment re-applied.
The condition of your hair plays a factor as to whether the Yuko system would work for you. Your hair needs to be in reasonable condition for you to be able to have the treatment done. The system is however less harmful to your hair than bleaching it would be. As long as the right products, procedure and the treatment is done by professionals your hair should not be harmed at all during the Yuko treatment. If you are considering having the Yuko treatment applied you should always get a consultation with your chosen stylist before hand so the condition and type of hair can be assed.
A question often asked regarding the Yuko treatment is whether it can be applied to colour hair, the answer is yes. As long as the colour has been on for at least two weeks the treatment is perfectly safe to have done. It should also be noted that if you do go ahead and have the Yuko treatment done that you can’t dye your hair for at least two weeks after the treatment has been applied.
In the case of bleached and highlighted hair there are a few factors that could sway the decision either way. Things such as how often your hair is bleached and the last time you bleached could prevent you from being able to have the treatment done. If you have a full head of bleach then you should defiantly not opt for the Yuko treatment. However if your bleach has grown out or you don’t use that much it is possible that the Yuko treatment would be safe for you to use.
The Yuko treatment can take anything from three to five hours to complete, depending on the length and condition of the hair. The Yuko treatment really is worth investing in; the average cost of it being anything between £200 - £600, but you’re not just getting straight glossy hair for this price you are getting hair that is going to be repaired whilst it straightens. The Yuko treatment leaves your hair in a more healthy condition thanks to specially designed heating irons.
Research suggests that on average 67% of women in the UK with wavy or curly hair attempt to straighten and smooth it out every day, spending about 30 to 45 minutes every day on doing this. Those 30 to 45 minutes daily add up to between four and six hours a week, which is roughly 275 hours a year we spend on straightening our hair. The Yuko treatment gives us back those 275 hours and replaces them with three or five hours instead, which one would you prefer?
